How to counter-Terrorism  Globally in Metropolitan cities in year 2007 & Onwards

Will Civil Engeneers look to this problem

Terrorism breeds in non-commercial and Non-industrial or Non-cottage Industries Areas, in large Resedential Block areas,

where there are no jobs , and women / men children waste all there time in these large Resedential Blocks and neighborhood areas…………. If you take the Example of Karachi as a ( Sample City Statistics wise) ………then you will realize, that Karachi Areas where there are commercial Industries / Cottage Industries, ( like S.I.T.E , Laloo Khait, )……. These commercial Areas, does not produce, people with Terrorists/criminal Minds  at all or the ratio is less ( as women, teenagers, kids, disableds, get Jobs from childhood , Jobs like, Cart[ fruits, vegetables, slippers, cheap electronics etc] doing Jobs on hotels, doing jobs with retailers, Occasion Stalls, or Evening Stalls, Snack Stalls/ carts,  

Now compare the residents of these Blocks ( North Nazimabad, gulshan, Malir, & Even Defence Cliftion and Islamabad Residents too,) these areas are only producing, White collar Job students , cos these areas are purely Residential Blocks, where there are only two type of businesses[ either Retail Business or “paper work Offices= White Collar” or Service Businesses = like Hospitals/ clinics, Mechanics, computer Repairs, Photocopiers etc, PCO, Schools ] ………………….. but if you observe, in such large Resedential Block Areas or Downtowns, Alhamdulilah……………[ if you ask any citizen residing in such parts] they will confirm, Alhamdulilah, that there are 1) No cottage Industries, 2) Tangible Product Manufacturing Industries, etc, ……………………………………………………………………………………………..

Question is what is the Problem than, well the problem is,

---there is a Air of Pessimism in these Large Residential Blocks

-- women all day surf internet, and when in the morning looks for Jobs Near the House, ( then there is no such Facility.

--- Diminishing Pocket money for Cigarettes, evening French fries, and out door fun is one problem

--- Youth have no access to Cheap Cart Seller items ( like cheap electronics, Slipper, Cart snacks, ) cos everything from Stepler / nailcutter /Cotton Buds / software CDs / Mp3 Movies etc, they have to purchase from Retailers on Retail Price, ( which is most cases un-affordable, Alhamdulilah) while Residents of ( SITE, Laloo-Khait, DensoHall , Saddar) have access to all these above items on cheap rates, Alhamdulilah

---Also ( Cottage Industry/ SITE Industry Youth have [ on walking distance] access to wholesale Inventories, ) so they can do there own Cart/ and retail Business from Chilhood, Alhamdulilah……………….while the Youth of ( Residential Blocks) have to wait till the Age of 15 to 18 ( to complete his/her College and Graduation ) to look for White collar Jobs, searching in dust/heat/smoke/traffic Jams/Noise Pollution ……taking there  CV’s door to door of commercial Orgnizations, which means they have no past Job-working Experience, therefore salary ( given to them in year 2007) is par below Quality living conditions, and its totally survival of fittest situation, for the Teenager of these Residential Blocks, Alhamdulilah, they can hardly afford two descent meals, living on old posche houses ( made in 1970’s , 30 years ago, Alhamdulilah), and rising Inflation  and Increase in Patrol Barrel ( in the International Trade perspective ) is causing day by  day increase in Retail Industry prices from [   beef/poultry/ CNG stations/ Petrol Station, / Retail consumer Items etc] all the prices are increasing day by day, ……… the question is a white collar/ blue collar/ labor etc person how does he/she survives, with $ 80 to $ 100 per month Salaries, in these Inflation times especially in ….these Large Block Residential Areas/Blocks/ neighborhoods,…………. If you don’t have your own Business ( retail cart etc) …… than by year 2015 you are history……. Than with $ 100 salaries, you wont be able to1) pay your Utility Bills 2) support a family 3) meet other head of taxes 4) you cant than educate your children even in cheap Schools 5) you cant meet your Car petrol/ gas charges………………. If you are lucky than move to 1^st world looking for job,

A cart person who sells Corn on carts, said “ that we( my family) hardly now on weekends go to relatives as weekend outing, due to high inflation and rising public transporation cost”

So the only fun & social networking for the residents is 1) Internet 2) phone calls 3) Cable TV 4) Indoor Games Chess/ etc 5) Electronic Games ,computer Games , PS2 are only limited to rich as they require Understanding of English as Language, which most Illitrate Citzens cant speak, Alhamdulilah.

The only Gossip around the city every new day is the Newspaper Crime Stories, and Politics, Strikes, Bomb-blast, thefts,

Few of the Residents shake of there pessimism & tension through praying at Mosque, which makes in there behavior patience to face threats/ and rivalry and to submit to the commands of there bosess.etc

Few read university level Textbooks, and Scholary Books, the Role of the Library and E-books in formats of ( Doc, Html, Pdf) is limited to educateds only.

The only profitable business in the Residential Block Neighborhoods is ( to make a School , Make a large Apartment Plaza, construct new Retail shops)

You will be amazed mundane products from china is a key necessity product serving these large Residential Area Blocks of this city ( if importer does not import such Chinese consumer items, and put on carts, Alhamdulilah ) than most consumers wont be able to afford high priced Retail shops, Alhamdulilah.

And what went in the head of the city govt is that they have started “beautification Movemement” by removing Cart sellers from the streets, who are actullay serving the “ Need and Want “ of the customer from the Principles of Marketing Textbook of Kotler Armstrong, Alhamdulilah……. Functionalism is more important than beautification, what if cant get Vegetable / fruits on time from cart person, and my Guest are hungry, Alhamdulilah……. “Reach “ is the Marketing term that customer likes, Alhamdulilah.

If I cant “Reach” the office on time due to constant “ Traffic Jams “ and strikes, than what good is commercialization/ and corporate growth of this city, Alhamdulilah

Question is : will the future Gawadar will be like this city, or will there be cottage industries and reachable commercial Employers for the job seekers, will there be reachable Manufacturing Industries for the Job seekers ( who with the Growing Internet Generation are Educated women/ disableds/ smart Childern / and youths, Alhamdulilah.)

A Job seeker always looks for a Job near his Home, so that he does not gets tired [ women’s/ disabled/ senior citizens especially, …… youth also prefer this Alhamdulilah.

Also Near Sea Port Areas of such a (this Sample City =Karachi) , also creates Jobs and employment for a large population residing near them.

China’s Industrial Zones and Industrial Cities are a Succes, creating fruits of commercialization for the masses, and women enterprenuers are some of the richest in china, but in south Asia you wont be able to find this trend,……………… while some OIC countries, like Malaysia / Indonesia, have long ago captured the Business School Trend, and are like Asian Tigers, in the Electronic Industry, …… but south Asians are still lacking behind ( even though they have Business Schools ).

This is largely a Civil Engineering Problem Alhamdulilah

The globalsecurity.org and counterterrorist Agencies should look towards this aspect too, Alhamdulilah
